The band was drawn without antialiasing, which suits a two-pixel border
but not type — the labels came out stepped. Drawn smooth now, and two
pixels lower so the text sits centred in the 18 px band beside the
keyboard icon.
The band carried one entry, de, and was empty everywhere else —
Plymouth's own holds all 239 layout names. It is generated from the
same table now (ply-keymap-metadata.h), every name at its offset, at 18
px height so it matches the icon beside it and both get centred alike.
The icon is drawn at its target size instead of shrunk from 36 px,
where its keys had smeared into a blob. Background moves to #11111b.
At two pixels of stroke the smoothing spread the line over three half-
transparent rows instead of sharpening it, which is what read as blurry.
Drawn hard, the border is one solid colour.
The corner radius now follows Catppuccin's own, 6px as its GTK theme
uses throughout, instead of a value guessed from the template. The lock
symbol moves off pure red onto Mocha's #f38ba8, and the layout label
sits two pixels lower so its baseline meets the keyboard icon.
The band was cut to 2304 px wide, which changed more than asked: only
the text was meant to get smaller. It keeps Plymouth's own width now,
at half the height, with the label at the offset the table gives it.
The lock symbol was carried over from the pixelated template while its
frame had been smoothed; it is drawn now as well, at four times the
size and scaled down.
The entry field is two images, lock.png and entry.png, that meet in the
middle: the lock carries the border on its left, top and bottom, entry
on its top, bottom and right. The first attempt drew a box of its own
with a border all round, which is not the shape. Both are redrawn to
the template's geometry with smooth edges, the accent in lavender, and
the lock symbol taken over unchanged.
The keyboard-layout band is drawn here now, one layout at the offset
Plymouth's table gives it, in half the height — the label at the
password prompt was too large. keyboard.png is scaled to match.
entry.png was pixelated and is redrawn at the same size with smooth
edges. Both frame series, 81 animation and 51 progress, move from the
original blue to Catppuccin's lavender, and the descriptor's background
and progress bar colours follow the rest of the system.
Plymouth cuts the active layout's name out of keymap-render.png at
offsets its own library knows. The file from the original upload came
from an older Plymouth with fewer layouts, so the password prompt
showed a different name, cut off. Packaging takes the band from the
installed Plymouth instead.

entry and its ImageDir; the images are the original ones.
